The bride, Megan, made all of her own centerpieces out of wood. There were 4 different table designs that we rotated in a star shaped pattern. The “Mushroom” tables had hand sculpted mushrooms and a dense tablescape of potted ferns in hand made clay pots. The “Floral” tables had a lush garland of greenery with huge peonies and brass cut out candles. The “Moth” tables had hand crafted wooden boxes that Megan made to look like a modern type of entomological display, with a staggering heights of brass candlesticks. The “Mosaic” tables had a beautiful hand painted wooden mosaic runner that Megan carved, shaped, sanded and painted, then put together like a puzzle down the center of the tables with tons of clear glass votives to light of the library lawn. The lounge was soft and romantic in greys, pinks and greens. Scattered throughout the library were smoke glass lanterns and our collection of ceramic vessels in all shapes and textures.
