Lindsey’s taste is impeccable. Her wedding style was simple, clean lines, accents of gold and plenty of lush local greenery. Her venue was the Wind and Sea house. We rented banquet tables with white tablecloths and made them feel more natural and softened by using a runner of eucalyptus and bay laurel. She rented our mercury glass candles and our natural linen napkins in grey that we hand dyed. She brought in her own geometric hurricanes from anthropologie. The clean white plates and gold flatware we rented from our local party rental supplier, Chic Event Rentals. Our custom cocktails were a Lavender Champagne cocktail with lavender bitters and lavender sugar that chef Jamie made, and the groom’s drink was a take on an Old Fashioned. The guests enjoyed endless cheese & fruit platters before the ceremony as they trickled in. After the ceremony, we served passed appetizers of organic chicken skweres with meyer lemon salsa, a roasted strawberry tartlet with black pepper chevre, and a grilled truffle honey peach wrapped in proscuitto. Dinner was a buffet and offered local artichokes, salad with honey poached pears and almonds, roasted fingerling potatoes, grilled steak and whole roasted free range chickens stuffed with clementines and garlic with a rich gravy. Music is really important to this couple, so they used our favorite all vinyl dj, Caleb Patet to really get their small group dancing all night. Photography by Two Foxes
